CrypterChat Protocol v2 — Public Readiness & Node Verification
Protocol v2 Readiness Overview
The CrypterChat Protocol v2 deployment candidate has completed end-to-end load testing across global WebSocket relay nodes. All encrypted message payloads are anchored on-chain without exposing plaintext metadata or participant addresses.
Relay Benchmarks & Latency
Under simulated traffic of 50,000 concurrent encrypted sessions:
- Median latency (p50): < 48ms from device keystore to recipient socket.
- Zero-Knowledge Anchor confirmation: Under 1.8s for Layer-2 validation batches.
- Database zeroization: Ephemeral queues in PostgreSQL wipe ciphertext within 300ms of delivery confirmation.
Decentralized Security Verification
Identity keys are derived strictly using Curve25519 and Ed25519 signatures matched against the user's connected Web3 wallet address. Relay servers never have custody of private keys or cryptographic seeds.
ChatScan indexing matches the cryptographic root hash for batch #1790671120.
Confirmed operational across the test cluster. Double ratchet key renewal verified on mobile clients.
